Contributions from the Côte d’Ivoire participants

In response to the questionnaire on the theme of collective wounds, the team of participants from Côte d’Ivoire sent us the results of the discussions they had within the group, as well as in conversations with civil society representatives and with victims and witnesses of the military-political crises that the country has experienced. The relevant documents are available at the bottom of the page.

A quote from these texts

“These wounds are illustrated by mistrust among the population, psychosis that translates into fear,
malice, injustice, tribalism, nepotism, exile, silence of the victims, frustration and the spirit of revenge.
We are all affected by all these wounds.”
