Almost one year ago, we sent out an invitation to a public event taking place just after our AGM. The programme included the launch of the film “Healing the Wounds of the Past” about healing of memories work in Luxembourg and a personal testimony by Guy Dockendorf, President of the Mauthausen International Committee.

This year, we are pleased to invite you again, this time for a screening of this documentary film, whose action is set in Uganda. It is the story of 15 adolescents born of war rape, who take part in an art and psychosocial programme to help them heal. The film accompanies them in a beautifully touching way as they create their performance, based on their own words, songs and body movements.

The film’s producers are asking our audience to generously support the UK charity GRACE INTERNATIONAL, which seeks to train and empower young people born in war situations and their communities in Uganda and in other regions of the world.

ALL DONATIONS WELCOME to support this association. Donations can be made in cash at the event or by bank transfer too Healing of Memories – ACAT : LU02 0019 4955 4541 4000
